Our plane landed at 12:50 and we were already eating at 2:20, which indicates how smooth embarkation was. I thought we would not be able to board until 1, but you can board at noon, although your cabin might not be ready until 1.

We were delayed leaving Fort Lauderdale, and I was surprised to see people boarding after 4:30. It turned out that there was a suspicious package in the luggage area on the dock. People who were boarding at 3:30 or so, had to wait until the luggage was cleared. Because of the delay, there was no ship tour, but we walked around ourselves and found the gym and the solarium and walked through the Promenade.

The life boat drill was as unexciting as you could wish.
