Sail Date: Jul 2015
Cabin: Balcony Premium

First Costa Cruise after 1 NCL and 3 Celebrity.

Only company for Canrian Islands in July, with a very intersting deal for a Balcony "Premium" stateroom.

Embarkation was slow and a little chaotic but bags were waiting at our cabin.

Cabin Review

Balcony Premium

Cabin BP

Aft cabin. Quiet.

Close to the buffet restaurant.

Clean, large : 20 m2.

Queen size bed and a sofa.

Only one electrical outlet. No kettle.

Port Reviews

Savona

Access to Savona Cruise Port is easy with the Public shuttle bus from the FS Station.

No use to buy the ticket in advance.

Marseille

The cruise port is far away from the city center.

We walked to the local bus stop but it's nearly 2km.So the trip to the city (La Joliette) takes one hour ( one way).

We visited MUCEM and le Vieux Port

Tangier

Interesting old city.

Las Palmas (Gran Canaria)

Large town.

Not far from the cruise port

We used public transport. Cheap and good quality.

The best prices for perfumes...

Tenerife

We rented a car ( CICAR has offices on the port) and went in Teide National Park.

Long queue for the cablecar ( make reservation by internet) : we should have gone as soon as possible to the "Teleferico" to have more time to spend.

Madeira (Funchal)

We walked to the Monte cablecar station then took the cablecar to the Botanico Garden.

After the visit of the Garden we took local bus to the city center : we had a look to the market and visit the Blandy's Wine Lodge

Malaga

Very short stay.

Had a look on the old city ( Gibalfaro castle and Caathedral) and visit the Picasso Museum.
