Our second cruise with Viking, first was a river, this was an ocean. Baltic Sea. I can't say one bad word about it. Food and service, cabin even we chose an economical one, all were first class.

You had the choice at meals of a buffet, sit down, dinner at specialty restaurants or 24 hr room service. We were met at the airport and were took with one other couple only, in a nice van to a hotel Viking put us up at a couple days before embarkation.

Excursions were all excellent, they had an included one at every port. We did the included one in St. Petersburg Russia, plus 3 others. The Hermitage, Russian ballet and Peterhof Castle. All wonderful.

Cabin Review

Cabin was surprisingly spacious. We had a king bed, 2 chairs, coffee table, desk and chair. Built in dresser drawers and huge closet. We were able to unpack and put our suitcases away. Bathroom was excellent. Good size shower, great water pressure and a lot if storage. Plus we had a veranda with 2 chairs and a small table. More than adequate. Also a large flat screen TV across from the bed, built in to the wall. And 2 night stands.
