The service and activities for kids were great. My 3 year old grand daughter enjoyed the character breakfast, meeting all the characters, and attending the Oceaneer Club. She did not want to go home. My 16 year old nephew loved the Vibes. There was fun for every age.
The money maker was in their photo packages.
Dining room food was okay. Meat was dry, pasta too thick, there were 3 manilla clams served as clam pasta. Best dessert is the Mickey Bars, similar to Eskimo Pie. The buffet is okay, but on the last full day, it was great. It was seafood buffet, mussels, shrimps, king crab legs, crabs that taste like dungeness crab, crawl fish, gumbo, and etc.
It is a quaint town. It is bigger than Skagway, but not as overwhelming as Juneau.
We took a local bus ride of Ketchikan.
Took the Canada Line to the ships pier. We bought one those discount books from some tobacco store near the airport. It cost us $2.50 because we are seniors and had the discounted tickets.
