After reading all the reviews on Dawn Princess we went on board with a see how it goes attitude, because we had read some terrible reviews and some good ones. But I can say most of the bad things we read about I never came across. The staff where great all the time, food was great and too plentiful, we had to be careful their as didn't want to put on to much weight. Their was something on all day .We went to Papua New Guinea and where also going to Solomon islands but due to a late season cyclone they had to avoid their so we went scenic cruising and sailed into an extinct volcano called Garove island which was pretty cool. A lot of stops were we went where very rustic and the people living a subsistent lives , the kids where great and great dancing and tradinonal dress . The only grip would be that a few of my fellow passengers should learn some manners when talking to the staff ,some that I came across I would have thrown out of the place if I was working their. The ship was in pretty good condition considering its nearly 20 years old and the staff where always out giving it a touch up with there paint brushes. We liked it so much that we booked another cruise with Princess in January
