We were really excited to go on this cruise with some friends we had met on the last cruise ( The Triumph). Our friend and my husband love their cigars. Every day there was a wedding or a private function that closed the cigar bar for hours. Needless to say, they were not very happy campers. There was only one day, I don't think this happened. There were lots of places they could have held these events that never seen any use. Next, we put in for the early dining. We were given the 8:15 dining. We eat early and go to bed early. We put in for a change the very first day and we did not hear from them. The 2nd day they slipped a note under our door saying "no" to what we requested. We went the first night. Not liking it but we had a table of people all about our age that we liked. The second night we arrive there first and low and behold they seated a group of SNOBS. That left a couple who had that table number out in the cold looking else where to sit. We were so upset we never went back until the last night after running into 2 of the couples who said the SNOBS had moved elsewhere. The food was not as good as on the Triumph. We dined in the Posh, lower level. As we waiting to get off the ship we were sitting on deck 5 along the casino. The music was so loud we couldn't hear the instructions. We ended up getting off the ship when it said on the sheet we received in our room. Very disappointed in this cruise. We'll never book on the Freedom again. Thinking seriously about not booking on Carnival again.
