Pros: Stateroom attendants are very good, dining room food is decent, Windjammer food was okay some things were good and others were bland, Indian food in the Windjammer, the bread was excellent, free pastries and cookies at Latitudes Cafe, shore excursions were fun, dining room waiter was excellent, guest relations desk was reasonable in dealing with issues and very quick about processing customer requests, customer service at Johnny Rockets was good, the ship always looked clean and in good shape.
Cons: Rude staff member at Cafe Latitudes who was the only rude staff member I encountered on the ship, Windjammer closed at 5pm until 6:30pm when a lot of people were hungry and wanted a light Bute to eat, the compass deli closed at 5pm as well, so the only option for food was Sorrento Pizza, and the pizza isn't good. They also only have 2 medium size pizzas out at once and many passengers took six slices at once, so the whole pizza. The lines were long for crappy pizza at times. Evian was sold on the ship for $5 a bottle, and to me Evian tastes like tap water. The beds were the hardest beds I have slept on in a cruise ship. Staterooms were the smallest I have had on a cruiseship, I don't recommend more than 2 people in a standard Oceanview cabin. We were sat at a table with 6 other people at dinner, we would have preferred our own table. We went to the opening night show and it wasn't great so we didn't go back to the theater after that. We saw some questionable food handling practices in the Windjammer Cafe where staff poured new food over old food in the buffet pans, that is against US food handling standards.
They are small compared to other ships I have sailed on. I couldn't imagine more than 2 people sharing a standard Oceanview cabin. The cabin attendants are very good.
Very quick embarkation process.
