Just back from our first cruise with Thomson on the Majesty. My wife and I travelled with our 18 year old son and his girlfriend. We flew from Glasgow to Corfu where we boarded the ship. We were in an inside cabin on deck 6. Our ports were Porto Corsinni ( Ravenna ), Venice, Rijeka, Dubrovnik and Durres. Our cabin was small but once unpacked it was fine. Beds were very comfy. House keeping staff were excellent, with our room serviced at least twice a day. The ship itself was great with a very informal, friendly atmosphere. We have only cruised twice before, both with Royal Caribbean. I guess the Majesty may not have been quite as grand as the RC ships but nevertheless we really enjoyed it. It is kept spotlessly clean by the amazing staff. Food was very good and plentiful (very) ! We ate every night in the waiter service Four Seasons restaurant. The waiter staff were excellent and couldn't do enough to for you. We ate breakfast and lunch in the Piaza San Marco buffet restaurant. The food here was also very good. We attended the show in the Jubille lounge each night at 10.30. The entertainment team were great and put their all in to each show. Each show had a different theme. After the 10.30 show there was a comedian a couple of nights , who was very funny, and also further musical entertainment on the other nights. On the whole we found the entertainment really good. The bars/lounges were very comfortable and a pleasure to sit in and have a drink. The bar/waiting staff were excellent.

We didn't go off ship on two of our stops - Rijeka and Albania - as we felt they weren't quite what we were looking for. However, our son and his girlfriend went into Rijeka and found it very nice. Venice and Dubrovnik were out of this world and we will definitely be returning to both in the future. Overall we loved our 1st cruise with Thomson and we will definitely cruise with them again.
