I was on the same cruise as "Great Lakes" and agreed with almost everything they said. Food is awful...Buffet a joke. Getting to Spice H20 very difficult...have to walk on wet slippery floors by childrens water park area. Tiny pool....no lounge chairs ever available bc they are all "saved" with towels. Cabin steward was the worst I've ever had...no hellos, smiles, goodbyes, or even spare Toilet Tissue when the one roll was nearly empty! No customs forms left in room, no final bill left in room, and not stewards fault...but BADLY stained towels and linens! I literally through the washcloths and hand towels on the floor immediately as they were so badly stained I refused to use them! Pictures are not only too expensive but the smaller ones are not a traditional size so you are forced to buy there frames as well! Some staff are very pleasant...like all the Maitre D's I came in contact with in the Manhattan room....very nice...but for the most part...including a man at Guest Services I had to deal with over a flood from the shower not draining...and the AC not working...was not pleasant. I agree with "Great Lakes" the staff aside from a handful...did not make you feel an level of elegance or being pampered! I couldn't eat most the buffet food...or the Dining Rooms....lunch choice...a chicken leg?? I did however very much enjoy the two shows, Rock of Ages and Burn the Floor despite this being the 3rd time I saw them, and enjoyed Cirque Dreams as well. The food at the Spiegel tent however was awful...and since there's no choice in selection whatsoever...not even a vegetarian meal...we had to go eat immediately after the show at O' Sheehans and were lucky to catch the "full menu" which is terribly limited as is. The entertainment (cruise director, etc) at Spice H20 Deck parties such as White Party, 70's Night is basically just music to dance to. There really is NO entertainment taking place by the staff....such as I enjoyed on a Carnival cruise. The public restrooms were dirty also...while I understand its hard to keep up with people who aren't considerate, you should have enough staff making sure they are pristine...and they weren't! You pick a time to disembark...but they call all and anyone wanting to disembark at that time...so it's a mass exodus bc they don't enforce the picked or assigned times. All in all...NCL has left me disappointed too many times now....I will be sailing Princess lines in Sept, and will look to do RC in the future. To make matters even worse...I booked a Port side Balcony room...and once we pulled into Bermuda, I was Starboard! I therefore didn't get to use and enjoy the balcony once in port!

Cabin Review

Balcony Stateroom

Cabin BC

Cabin itself is fine...but plumbing wasn't working properly and so the shower water didn't drain and instead flooded the whole bathroom....and the AC didn't ever get cold enough. When I called to ask for someone to fix both...the stewards mailbox was full! I had to go down to guest services. He was not apologetic or compassionate about it at all. This caused us a three hour delay in getting ready for dinner and the shows we were to attend! The cabin steward was furnished with VERY beige and very badly stained towels and our first set of lines as well had a huge 10 inch cirlce of stain! Our cabin steward didn't leave Toilet Tissue or other things like Customs form or Final bill in the room or door either.
