Getting aboard and to the balcony room went smoothly and we had a great room steward. His care and attention were great and the room was always kept clean and stocked with fresh towels.
We went to get our first meals and that is when we had our first of several disappointments. The pizza was no where near the quality of our earlier cruise but it was no where near as bad as the rock hard bun on the burger we got. Meals in general seemed to be a problem as they ended up taking 2 to 3 hours to get through the courses and several times we were brought the wrong food. Twice we had lobster and once it was cooked just right and the other time it was cooked until it turned to rubber. In general meals were hit and miss. Some meals were good and service went well but just as often the meal was disorganized or poorly prepared. Every one will tell you to just send it back and they will provide you something else but after being at the table for 3 hours it seems easier to just leave and go to the buffet.
Because of a sewage problem one side of the ship toilets did not work for a day and we had to skip ports to go out to sea to "fix" the sewage problem. Be aware that missing a port is worth $75.00 to princess (that is what they will credit you). You may find that missing a port is a much bigger disappointment than what princess does.
good layout, great cabin steward. nice size balcony.
