There were four of us in our party, my husband, my friend and her husband. This was our 12th cruise with Thomsons. Everything was superb from start to finish.
When boarding we met Ronaldo who had been our waiter previously on the Celebration, what a welcome he gave us! I don't know how the staff remember everyone. We dined each night in the Meridian Restaurant where Malcos ,who assisted Ronaldo, and Benjamin the Wine Steward gave us excellent service. We had the all inclusive package so our glasses were well filled! We had a special treat in Mistrals, all very nice, but really not much better than the Meridian and lacking in the fun and atmosphere. The Restaurant Manager, we called him the "Whirlwind", ensured that the service in both the Lido and Meridian was of the highest standard, he was "hands on" clearing tables etc., when necessary. The Hotel Manager, Craig, was very chatty and also his main aim was that guests had no cause for complaint.
The only negative comments I would make is that the Coffee Port was not really necessary, why pay for coffee when you can get is free in the Lido? Also the service in the Broadway was poor, not enough staff on duty.
Ideal for our needs.
Beautiful port and the scenery on the coach to and from the airport was breathtaking.
