We are two fifty somethings traveling with our two teenaged (14 and 15) daughters. This was our second cruise. Cabins were ready when we embarked around 2 pm. Luggage did not arrive until just before dinner.
On Board Entertainment - Kinda weak when compared to our previous Disney cruise, but I hear that's hard to top. When looking back over previous reviews, I was amused that the shows are the same as they have had for years - Motown, VIP, Epic Rock. Wow, really you might want to refresh this a bit. During the day, there's not much to do if you're not into bingo or slots. Some trivia, and a few health seminars - kind of a snooze. The comedy club was really fun. Two comedians for two nights, then they get two new ones for another two nights. Shows do repeat, they swap out the early vs late ones. The pools are freezing, so the hot tubs in the common areas are full of kids. The serenity hot tub is always full of adults. The spa hot tub can be found empty at times.
Children's clubs - Kids wouldn't even go near them. They refused to hang out with strangers.
We booked two cabins, one interior that I and my husband shared. The second was a balcony that the two kids shared and we barged in on quite frequently to sit on the balcony.
They were both beautifully maintained by Ruby our steward. They had the configuration wrong upon boarding, but one call to Ruby had that fixed before bedtime.
