Our cruise was everything we expected and more. We were a family of 5, ages 12 through 58. We flew up 3 days before our cruise and enjoyed Universal studios and Downtown Disney.

Embarking was easy and fast. We were on the ship around 11:00 so we walked around to get familiar with the location of everything. We had a balcony room and seldom used the "balcony" although having the natural light was great. Actually we were seldom in our room. We preferred exploring and enjoying the ship. Our daughter and two grand children were directly across the hall from us in a regular stateroom. The first two days we spent a lot of time at the pool. Also the first day the game room offered a few FREE games which the children enjoyed. Before I forget I'll mention that a "Prom" was held for the teens later during the week, which we did not prepare for because We hadn't read about it in any of the reviews. Teens were dressed in formal attire. We'll be better prepared next time.

If you plan to purchase any photos be sure to pose at every opportunity for the ships professional photographers so you'll have many to choose from. We didn't take many and was limited when choosing photos for the memory book. Also if you have teens, purchasing Walkie talkies are a lot more reasonable than purchasing wifi for the cell phones to stay in touch.

Cabin Review

Superior Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D3

Cabin was great. We unpacked and put luggage in closet for room. Our balcony was great. The room was big enough. The bed was comfortable. The safe was handy. No clock in room. Used cell phone to keep up with time and to shine light for going to bathroom during the night. We turned our phones to airplane mode and turned off wifi so we could still take pics without racking up international charges.
