Room - We were on Deck 14.. balcony room. I liked that it was really easy one flight of stairs to get to the pool area. Your missing those sunglasses, your wet whatever reason you don't want to wait in the elevator or take all those stairs to get to and from the pool area. It was more important to me to be closer to the pool than say the casino or restaurants.

Spa - I booked access to the spa, prior to sailing. They only offer a limited number of passes to the spa. And trust me it is awesome. The ship was very busy the week we booked and we were thankful we had an area we could "getaway" to that was limited to a small portion of the passengers.

Dinning - I booked the ultimate dinning package. Loved the specialty restaurants. The steak/Italian were my favorite. Couple suggestions - book your dinner times prior to getting on the boat, to avoid settling for restaurants and times. And something I wished I did was to book my dinner time at Sunset on the "right" sunset" side of the boat outside. This would have put dinner OVER the top magical. Italian restaurant is on the starboard side - they serve al fresca (outside dinning) and sunset is 7:15.

Spa Balcony Stateroom

Cabin B9

Starboard side of the ship... no complaints with the room. We like the balcony but other than sleeping we don't spend too much time in the room. For whatever reason shower pressure on day 1 was AMAZING... day 2 and the rest of the voyage just ok.

Port Reviews

Miami

We fly into FLL and picked up a friend from the Miami airport for our cruise. We found out they offer a shuttle and luggage services thru Norwegian at the airport.

St. Maarten

Did not book an excursion. Got off the ship … found the taxi/van station and had them take us to Orient Beach. It cost $ 8 per person to get us there. Orient Beach is broken down into 2 beaches … topless tourist full of bars and gift shop huts. They dropped us off here and this is where we stayed. We also rented an umbrella and lounge chairs for $ 12 each … well worth it. OH yeah… bring your ship towel with you. The other beach is a FULL nude beach. Don’t go there … there are some things that can never be unseen. Ride to the beach maybe 20 minutes from the boat. I would GO back to this beach for sure.

Nassau

Did not book an excursion here. Got off the boat, passed a lot of people looking to drive us go places etc… then we passed the gates and more people trying to stop us. We ended up taking a taxi tour of the city .. $ 25 per person. It was a nice tour and information of the location. Few stops along the way. Including… Queens steps, Paradise Island – Atlantis, Forts, and tourist shops. After the tour we ended up going to Senor Frogs a short walk from the pier…. Crazy place for sure. If you like seafood there is a place called fish fry row… might be worth checking out. All in all probably our least favorite port of call… If you wanted to have the boat to yourself this might be the day for it. (Atlantis is too expensive and not worth it).
