Not sure what the decorator was thinking when they designed the Legend, but it was really not attractive. Just about everyone we encountered said the same things, so I know it was just not our opinion. I was surprised that the food was not very good. The other cruise I was on it was great. We expected to get some Alaskan king crab or salmon, something region, but no. Our state room was a nice size and the beds were comformtable. Our stewart service could not have been better, they kept our room really well and they were very helpful when we needed something.

It seemed to me that Carnival is more interesed in selling more stuff once you are on the boat then making sure you are happy about the cruise you already paid for. I was really not happy that they had two resturants on board that served quality food, but you had to pay extra for that. Every turn they tried to sell you a picture and at every turn they were trying to sell you something else. We did not go on the Tracy Ford Glacier excursion, but we did notice that we got to see the glacier and some whales without paying the excurtion fee, not sure what they go to see that we did not, but for almost $200 a person, I wonder if it was worth it. We like going on cruises, but we will not be going on the Carnival again.

The cabin was excelling, larger than we expected and it had a nice large tub, the jets did not work, but I was just happy to have a bathtub.
