Sail Date: Jul 2015

I’ve cruised some 42-times (really). It can be a wonderful vacation.

Cruising has changed so much so over the last two decades and sometime back in 1990, I took my first Carnival cruise.

I recently decided to do another Carnival cruise this July 2015. The first one was fairly sub-standard in comparison to the other many lines I have sailed and I wanted to give Carnival another chance this 2015.

Port Reviews

Catalina Island (California)

Wonderful! The real reason we sailed Carnival. This is a great compact port with very good restaurants (BLUEWATER GRILL IS AMAZING), small but good beaches, some shopping; ultra safe and the feeling of being thousands of miles away when in fact it is just 26 miles off the California Coast.
