We embarked at Southampton of a 4 night voyage to Hamburg and back as it fitted my friends short schedule, Check in was quick and efficient and we were on the ship within 40 minutes of arriving including a 15 minute wait in the grills seating area,

Our luggage was waiting for us at our suite along with 2 bottles of complimentary sparkling wine, chocolates and fresh orchids which was a lovely touch. The room was beautiful with plenty of space and a separate walk in wardrobe and large bathroom with both bath and shower, we ate in the Princess Grill which was open for lunch on embarkation day and ate there for the whole time we were on the ship, Chateaubriand, crepes or any speciality dishes you wanted had to be ordered 24 hours before though.
