First things first: the weather was absolutely fabulous. So fine, we wouldn't go again to Alaska because everyone told us the seven days of sunshine and clear skies were a rare exception. So another trip would probably a disappoinment weatherwise. And the Alaskan landscape is just spectacular.

Now for Princess' performance (we did seven previous cruises with Princess and our last one was with Celebrity, so we could compare):

Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin MA

Our cabin was the standard mini-suite we knew from our previous cruises - only with a stained sofa, a carpet torn at the edge of the balcony door and balcony furniture so dirty we never dared to sit on it during the cruise. Good location: close to everything, but quiet.
