This was my 5th cruise and my 12 year old sons 2nd cruise. We upgraded from a balcony room for a suite which was roomy, very clean, and had more storage than we needed. I have read several comments about the a Triumph being "old" and "not up to date". Quite to the contrary I thought it was exceptionally laid out, clean, modern, and beautifully decorated with tons of amenities. Our cabin steward Eugene was a gem working very hard to ensure we were comfortable.
The food was amazing, especially Guy's Burger Joint and the Blue Iguana Cantina. There is fresh made to order pizza 24/7. We only went to the main dining room for dinner twice and it was also good.
There were 3 pools and we spent our sea days by the main pool which was the largest ship pool I had ever seen. My son spent most of his sea days exploring the ship as there was many amenities for him to enjoy such as a giant water slide, mini golf, video games galore, ping pong, basketball. I also purchased for him the Bottomless Bubbles package which for $5 a day was a bargain for soft drinks which normally cost $3 each so with 2 sodas per day we were already saving money. We didn't do much in the evenings but I did attend the Comedy Show one night for adults and it was hilarious and fun, especially if you enjoy adult humor.
My Oceanview Suite was exceptionally clean, spacious, and comfortable. The bedding was awesome and my lumbar back problems were not bothered at all. Storage for 2 people was double what we needed and would easily accommodate 4. There were 2 large wall closets and a large dresser, and also a smaller set of several drawers in a large makeup/dressing area. The bathroom was roomy with double sinks and a spa tub/shower.
Embarkation can be a challenge and can lead to frustration. Be prepared to wait in long lines
