Just returned home today from our 7 day Bermuda cruise. Happy that we ignored some of the reviews we read. I assure you the ship is not in the state of disrepair that some say , and no of course it's not shiny and brand new (after all it's been out there for a few years) The crew was constantly cleaning and making small repairs ( touching up paint, varnish etc) This was cruise #13 ( 11 on asst Royal Caribbean and 1 prior on Celebrity) We stayed in rm 2015 an interior simple rm. There were 3 of us and we managed ok, we were only in it to sleep. Did enjoy the shower (had more room than RC) We got great service from Clinton and Delon and we referred to them as the room ninjas (everything was taken care of and they did it without being seen or asked , We aren't needy guests, and don't bother them unnecessarily. I received a coupon for laundry and contemplated using it ( filled the bag , wrote out the slip) however when I read the coupon more closely it said not for last 3 days , I wasn't sure it would be good since we were on 4th day of cruise so I left the bag on the chair and didn't mention it. My laundry appeared clean the next afternoon. Thanks Ninja Clinton. Tips for finding food (many on board didn't know the following) Fresh grilled steaks and other meats (thanks Shanna) available at back of buffet nightly. Fresh made to order fried rice /lo mein available next to sushi ( put your favorite ingredients in a bowl and hand it over ( Thanks Anick ! Great job and always so pleasant) Fresh eggs anyway you like , Thanks Latoya you made our over easy eggs daily. The food was excellent the buffet had so many hidden gems we discovered daily, I can only think those who didn't like the selection didn't know where to find it. We discovered the toast station tucked behind the fresh Danish bread section about midway down buffet on 3rd day, found fresh waffles and cheese blintzes at very back of buffet halfway through the cruise. My advice , Walk the entire buffet at all meals , It's amazing what you will find. Thank you Julias (Oceanview Café ) for taking care of our table every evening , with great service. Don't miss out on fresh made juices and smoothies at the spa café it's hiding back by adults only pool on deck 10 and is open only limited hours.(costs extra) By far the easiest fastest embark and disembark ever it was amazing improvement over lines of last year, nice new terminal. Entertainment was great (comedians and Revoiced a capella group) If you don't like searching for a chair go up on the deck behind the basketball court no crowds , and quite peaceful. There;s always gonna be those people that hog the chairs from 7am to 6pm they are on every boat . Small complaint + pools and whirlpools all closed very early every night ????? Why ???? Pool butlers did a great job of policing the area, too bad we have to tell adults t(hat babies don't belong in whirlpools ( it's dangerous, too hot) and really with a diaper on, lets use common sense. That;s why it says over 18. Overall great experience , it is what you make it. Just understand it's a different type of boat and atmosphere than the new Mega ships.PS non smoking casino, some will love it, I spent a lot less money than normal because of it.
