We are so impressed with the new and remodeled Sunshine ship! The staff were so friendly and very considerate even with a few rude cruisers. The Lido cafeteria is so nice, colorful and inviting. The food was upgraded (yes, it was cruise food but fresh, diverse, and tasted real) and improved from previous cruises with Carnival. The trivia games were fun and the special nights were also fun. I liked the new eating places...hamburger joints ,better pizza Italian, asian...lots of variety. The shake spot was a great addition, and the ice cream was scrumptious. The balcony and rooms were nice, cheerful, bright with updated decor. Loved my king sized bed. Movie nights, good movies and free popcorn was good. Serenity adult areas were beautiful and great for privacy. We heard some complainers from the Disney and RC lovers, so go back to them and we won't miss you. Parents thank you for minding your children..this was a great cruise for families, and thanks to the kids for being so courteous. I was impressed and I teach kids, so that was important. We'll be back next year, count on it. We don't go for the excursions, just time away from the daily grind to rejuvenate, and that's important to remember, everyone goes cruising for different reasons! Lareston was a wonderful steward for our rooms...he met our every request. I kept saying to my wife how much I enjoyed this cruise over and over. Thanks Carnival!

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin 8B

Very nice with new decor. King sized bed that slept very well. Great bathroom and shower. Lots of closet space...and that balcony was fpgreat with three chairs and recliner.

Port Reviews

Grand Turk

We refer to it as our outlet mall stop...that was about it!

San Juan

It is just like visiting any other big city like Miami or New York. Beautiful at night and plenty to do, but we hit the tourist spots and jumped back on the ship

St. Kitts (Port Zante)

Nice shopping and weather

St. Maarten

Always our favorite stop! Belgian Chocolate shoppe and the petit cafe for an Orangina and Some French lunch is fun! Lots of good shopping, get off the main drag and take side streets to enjoy the ambience.
