Cabin Review

Cove Balcony

Cabin 7C

Have had 3 balcony cabins on the Carnival Conquest, but this was our first cruise on the Carnival Magic and the first Cove Balcony we've had. It was very nice! Especially since the balcony cabins on other decks of the Magic overlook Deck 5 rather than the water. Maybe nice for people watching, but not ocean view watching. But with the Cove Balcony on Deck 2, your downward view is just water. Wonderful! True, the upward view is the lifeboats, but they do provide shade and provide a sense of privacy. Saw dolphins alongside a few times.

Cabin 2273 is the first Cove Balcony on the starboard side. It is near the forward elevators/stairs, but its toward the end of the hallway so very little foot traffic/noise in that direction. Actually, a very quiet and peaceful cabin that is very convenient to the Showtime theater, and all the forward areas (Northern lights restaurant, photo gallery, Atrium, etc). Kind of a hike back the buffet, but burning a few calories doesn't hurt!
