This was the first time we had ever cruised, so we picked this ship as it was new and we preferred a larger ship for our first cruise. We really enjoyed the cruise as it was a totally new experience.

Embarkation was incredibly fast and easy. Cabin was ready when we arrived and it was immaculate. Our cabin attendant marijanne was absolutely brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble for her. She kept the cabin clean, tidy and well stocked. She popped in every day to have a word with us. She was always cheerful and made our day.

We found dynamic dining ok. We never had to queue and food was good. Other people we spoke to who had cruised before seemed to prefer the more formal dining that they had experienced on other ships, but we had nothing to compare it with so we were fine.
