We booked the Celebrity Eclipse from Southampton, for a 15 night cruise to the Baltic. Never cruised before with Celebrity, so we did quite a lot of research first. We booked an Aqua Class Stateroom, which offered a healthy eating option and our private dining room Blu. This restaurant was for Aqua Class guests only, we would go for breakfast and you could go to dinner at anytime, you were not restricted with time slots. The staff made us feel really welcome, especially our waiters Agnelo, Purnama and Jelana, who served our wine. If you wanted a change from the Blu restaurant, you could go the the main restaurant Moonlight Sonata or try some of the specialty Restaurants such as Murano, Qsine and Tuscan Grille. We tried all of them and each had their own special dining experience. Plenty of other places to dine or get a coffee/tea and pastries.
The ship itself, was very spacious. The stateroom we had was lovely. In fact we have already booked another cruise and asked for the same stateroom. Plenty of activities for you to do, if you wanted to. You could go to the cinema, spa, games room or the bars. The evening entertainment was great, lots of variety for everyone.
The places we visited on the Baltic Cruise, were beautiful and interesting particularly Stockholm, Tallin and Gdansk. In fact all the ports of call, we enjoyed.
Our stateroom was lovely and bright, Ramon looked after us very well. Each night they would come in and turn down the beds and leave us fresh towels. The stateroom received fresh fruit and plenty of bottled water every day. It was great, to have the coffee and tea facility in the room. Nothing was a problem, if we wanted anything, it arrived in minutes.
Was a little disappointed with Copenhagen. Enjoyed it, but did feel it lacked something. Always thought it would be a magical type of place that would leave you wanting to go back.
Loved Stockholm, we walked everywhere from the ship. So easy to get around. Such a beautiful place, cannot wait to go back. Would go and stay for a longer period. Did the Abba experience, great fun.
Another magical place. Would go back for a long weekend.
