This was our fourth NCL cruise and our second cruise on the Breakaway. While I am aware that many people complain about service, extra charges, etc. I cannot say any of those things. We booked through Casinos and were given priority to embark. We were on board by 11:30 and were able to drop off our carry on immediately. The luggage appeared in front of our room at 3:00 and by the time we went to muster, our belongings were unpacked and we were ready to enjoy our cruise. Our room was kept in perfect order - always sufficient amount of towels, clean and orderly. Our room steward was friendly and accommodating. We joined Vibe (as we did last year) and we never had to worry about getting a lounge to lay out on deck. While we did not access the pool area, we never felt the need to given the giant hot tubs and shower on the Vibe deck. Our bartender Leon was awesome and kept us entertained daily. We met wonderful people on the Vibe deck and even spent the days on land with them. We rented a cabana at the Elbow Beach Hotel and it truly was spectacular.

Although there is a huge amount of people on the ship, the only time you actually feel it is at poolside. For the most part, all other areas of the ship do not feel congested.

We dined four out of the seven nights in a specialty restaurant. We made all of our reservations in advance of the cruise, paid our service charge in advance of the cruise and therefore never felt like we were being nickel and dimed. Cagney's was wonderful. I admit Ocean Blue is a bit overpriced. We met the director on board the Breakaway, Prem, and he invited us to dinner at La Cucina with a complimentary bottle of wine. Tepanyaki was wonderful. Food was abundant and we never needed more.
