Sail Date: Jun 2015

Having followed the early experiences with the ship back in April/May, we were pleasantly surprised that all but the most minor glitches have been resolved. Our sympathy to those pioneers.

We had a great cruise and the Viking ship and staff came through superbly.

Dining was very good in the main restaurant with a lot of good choices. Services was usually outstanding with only a couple nights where they seemed understaffed. The restaurant is spacious and the noise levels were better than other ships we experienced. World Café was great also with many choices and plenty of fresh made delicacies. Manfredi's is the gem of the ship. Its staff and food quality are top notch and compare favorably to top level Italian restaurants on land. Chef's Table needs more choices and then it might attract more people. The Asian menu was great. A word on the wines. The generous pours of red, white and bubbly at lunch and dinner were usually excellent. If you order a bottle from the wine list, as we did, you will find that it is very reasonably priced.

Cabin Review

Cabin Deluxe Veranda

Very comfortable bed and about the same amount of room as on other ships. Bathroom was nice , though shower was hard to adjust.
