Loved the itinerary......word for the wise for anyone planning this cruise......board the ship in Barcelona if possible. We stayed there two days before the cruise and were able to site see at our leisure. Plus if you come into Rome you will have a more than one hour ride to get to the seaport to board the ship. The port in Barcelona was easy to get to.

Boarding the ship was easy and if you are a Latitudes member there was a short dedicated check in line.

One of my main disappointments was the cabin layout. We had a balcony on deck six (avoid this deck since there is no cover over the balcony on this level). The design of the room has the bathroom by the entry, the shower and toilets are separated on each side, and the sink is inside the room. In essence you step out of the shower in front of the exit door and have to dry off and dress there. This area has a curtain for privacy. Two thumbs down for whomever thought this up. Plus this had to be the smallest balcony cabin ever with only a few inches separating the beds and only enough space for one person to pass the end of the bed.
