This was our first cruise on Norwegian, so we were a bit skeptical (huge ship, lots of kids?) but we are so glad we went. The Breakaway is huge, don't get me wrong, but it is a beautiful ship with lots of things to do. Yes, there were kids, but it never felt like we were colliding paths (except for the elevators: Parents, please tell your children NOT to push every button on the elevator. It is more than annoying). My hubby and I chose the ultimate beverage package, which did not disappoint. Lots of bars to choose from, and very friendly bartenders. We ate in the Manhattan Room, Savor, Taste, O' Sheenan's, and the Cirque show, and the food was excellent in every restaurant. The Cirque show is fantastic, well worth the extra money.

Bermuda was drop dead gorgeous! We had so much fun at Horseshoe Bay Beach....yes, the sand is really pink. We have been to many many Caribbean islands, and Bermuda is definitely in a class by itself. First of all, the whole island is clean. I mean super clean. There was no rubbish on the streets, no small kids walking without shoes...just a happy, beautiful place. Second, there were no hustlers at the beach trying to sell a bunch of trinkets and junk. What a relief! We didn't worry about our belongings...just kicked off our sandals and ran to the clear, turquoise water. Such fun, felt like we were 20 again!

We opted for a mini suite mid-ship (Cabin 13234) and we loved it. The balcony was small, but the bathroom more than made up for it, with a tower shower, dual sinks and large vanity...plenty of room to spread out my hair products and makeup. Love that! Our cabin steward, Jose, was great...we came back to fresh ice, mints on our pillows, and new towel art every night. Such a treat!
