WE just got off the Celebrity Summit on a 7 night cruise to Bermuda. It was our first time sailing Aqua Class and we didn't really know what to expect regarding the food. We loved eating at Aqua Blu for breakfast and dinner. In fact, the one night we dined at Normandie (big upcharge) we actually wished we had not booked the speciality restaurant. Blu served really good meals, cooked to your liking each evening. Breakfast was pretty much the same as you probably could get in the MDR, but it was served more elegantly and the service very personalized. Dinner menus changed each night, but you could always get salmon, chicken or beef, there were different and delicious appetizers offered each evening, but you could always get shrimp coctail, escargot or french onion soup or ceasar salad (same as MDR) if you didn't want what was on the menu. We got to try new fish dinners and they were all delicious, the beef and duck breast were really good as well. The sommelier was a bit over the top but he was very sweet and excellent. The wait staff was so professional, and helpful and recognized us each night. Tables for 2 were next to the large windows, and you were close enough to chat with neighbors next to you but far enough away to avoid that if you wanted.

Now for the rest of the cruise:

The cabin is the same size as any veranda cabin, and the balcony we had was very small. The cabins are definitely spacious enough for 2, but only 2 adults. We got 2 bottles of spring water delivered each morning, and canapés each afternoon (they were really not very good).

Port Reviews

King's Wharf

Getting off the ship was easy and painless, going through customs and boarder protection was very slow as the lines were long and there weren't enough agents checking passports.

Bayonne (Cape Liberty)

We drove to the port, so we saved a few bucks by booking parking online at a place about 2 miles from the port. The shuttle driver was excellent and took us right to the port where you board. The terminal is huge and well organized and we had priority embarkation so we were onboard within minutes! However coming back we had long lines through customs and boarder protection due to a lack of agents! (Thank you Congress!)
