After having cruised several times on RCCL cruises we were disappointed with the Allure of the Seas. We had to queue up for a minimum of 30 mins every night for my time dining. There was very little choice for non meat eaters. The Windjammer was permanently full for breakfast and lunch with the waiters using the same dirty cloth for cleaning the tables. No evidence of a clean one, anti bac products etc.

The main Promenade on Deck 5 was permanently busy and the noisiest we have ever encountered. There was different music blaring from many different bars and eateries at the same time. You couldn't walk more than 10 yards without RCCL staff pestering you to go the expensive spa, buy photographs etc. We were amused when the staff set up tables with cheap gifts and it became very busy again on the Promenade. Too many people needing the lifts at the same time.

The excursions were so expensive they were prohibitive as were the speciality restaurants. The drinks had tax and gratuities added so were expensive too.

Naples city was very busy. Excursions too expensive and the queue was a mile long for the boat trips.

Palma de Mallorca (Majorca)

Did our own thing as excursions too expensive.

Marseille

No we did our own thing and took an open topped bus tour which was very nice and the weather was fab.

Rome (Civitavecchia)

Too expensive and visited Rome many years ago.
