We have always been on land holidays and decided to go on a cruise. I must admit I was a bit nervous as I am not very good on boats lol but I should not have worried. We arrived in Dubrovnik to find our baggage would be on board the ship on our arrival. This was brilliant as no waiting at the airport for our cases. Check in on the ship was organised really well, we were even met with drinks! Our room was on deck 7 and was absolutely spotless. King size bed with dressing table. Wardrobes all along the back wall. Plenty of room to put your belongings. The bathroom had a bath with power shower and again spotless. Every time we left our room fresh towels were put out and at the end of the evening our bed was pulled down and chocolates were put on our pillow, we even had a pig made out of towels!

Food on board was lovely. You could go to the Lido restaurant which was buffet from morning to evening. The Median was waiter service included in the price. The food was lovely. Three/four course meal. The waiters were lovely and cheerful always smiling. A waiter came round with wine topping up your glass as soon as it was getting empty. We were all inclusive with drinks, some had supplements, however bottled water was not included but you could fill an empty bottle of water up in the Lido restaurant! We paid extra for a meal which was a curry/Chinese but to be honest it was just as nice as the Median. The entertainment was outstanding which started at around 7 pm and went on into the early hours of the morning. My last memory was "My Fair Lady" fantastic show.

I must admit we did get lost a couple of times on board the ship, to be honest the ship was plenty big enough for us. The shops were good as well. I booked myself an hair appointment for an up do for the captains dinner. The hairdresser was lovely and did a really good job. Plenty went on in the ship so you never got bored and of course all the beautiful places we stopped at eg Dubrovnik, Koper, Korcula, Venice, Bali, Sibenik. We did do some trips but on hindsight we could have done our own thing. Venice was amazing, we got up at 5 am to watch the ship sailing towards Venice. Venice was expensive but we expected that we did a trip with Thomson £50.00 each well worth it as a gondola ride was included in the price.

Cabin Review

Cabin Deluxe

We stayed on deck 7 in a deluxe cabin. We had a window with lovely views. King size bed with dressing table, wardrobes, drawers, coffee table with couch. Fridge with mini bar drinks but was not included in the all inclusive. Tea and coffee with kettle included. The bathroom was lovely with bath, power shower, sink etc. Fresh towels and plenty of soap etc. Our cleaner was lovely and treated us like royalty.
