Another excellent cruise, made even better this time with the outstanding Luminae experience.
We've been cruising with Celebrity for a while, cruising is a fantastic way to see more, esp in Europe, with kids in tow. This was our first time on the Eclipse though we've been on many of the other Solstice class ships; they are all pretty much the same, though definitely missed not having the Art Studio (Eclipse has a Photo Studio). Also really missed Rossi from the Equinox, the best CC hostess EVER!!!!!
Our aft sky suite was very spacious for the 4 of us (11 and 15 yo kids) with ample closet and drawer space. Love the tub and the private scale so you know when you need to watch it! Hector and Joaquim kept our room spotless. Dominic, our butler, was always very responsive. He was our butler on our Medi cruise last summer, so it was kind of like seeing family when we saw him again!
Lowest suite tier: adequately spacious with suite perks, and money left over for shore excursions!
Got the 24 hour Copenhagen card in advance, mailed to me at home, so used it for the bus from port into town. Once there, very easy to walk to all the places on my to do list. With the card, able to take the train back to Osterport later that evening, after the bus stopped running, so Uber'd it back to port.
Rained, so only went to Vasa in am, scratched plans for Skansen in afternoon. The Vasa museum tour guide was excellent! Used Uber to and from, was supposed to be just a tiny bit higher than bus for 4 (but surge pricing made the fare to a little higher than expected); but the bus would have been very easy too, just outside port.
Talliin has a very fun medieval old town. Rain in am dampened our enthusiasm to go out, but it cleared in the afternoon so we headed out then. Nice to just explore on your own. Very easily walkable.
