We started and the Maxwell hotel in Seattle. Great location with a free shuttle. Walking distance to city center like the space needle and Chullily museum. We longed Pike Market. Embarkation was very smooth. We are latitudes members and Casino at sea so we were in a short line. The ship wasn't new but it was fine. embarkation was very smooth. We are latitudes members and Casino at sea so we were in a short line. We enjoyed the comedienne. The Wizard of Oz skit was hysterical. My husband enjoyed a massage at the spa. I enjoyed a fitness seminar but felt taken advantage of when I was trying to learn more about my health and I felt they really push their cleansing pills and other things. I came in the next day for my so called 45 minute personalized education with diet and exercise plan. It was more like a three minutes of " here is a grocery shipping list of food and an exercise packet." I will be very hesitant to attend any future health seminars on the ship because of this.

Juneau- we took a taxi to Mendenhall glacier. So beautiful to take the short hike to the waterfall. Skagway- Chilkoot charters ( found on trip advisor) we took the train going up sitting on the left-hand side and a bus tour going down. For $179 a person it was so worth the all day tour. Ketchikan was nice, big fishing town. We took a taxi tour. Victoria BC, took a guided taxi tour. Our balcony room was tight with 3 people. It looked like dried blood on the stool by the mirror. Gross! Other than that the room was kept clean.

My son had dietary restrictions and some restaurants were better than others to cater to his needs. The Italian restaurant made the best cheese less pizza for my son. They were so wonderful and accommodating. Cagney's was great. Le Bistro completely dropped the ball. They gave my son a cream sauce when he could've had a light butter on his lobster. He was never given the option when the table next to us was given the option by a different waiter. They also never checked in the kitchen until after the meal was over. My son walked out of the restaurant starving and had to go to the buffet because of the waiters incompetence. We loved the woman in the casino bar. She knew the three of us by name and the drinks that we liked. I am blanking on her name right now but I did mention her name in the Norwegian survey. We got off the ship and took the Seattle city tour which then took us to the airport. Overall, Alaska was beautiful and I would go back.
