I haven't cruised with Royal in a while....they have definitely lost my respect as an elite cruise line. The main buffet restaurant ran out of cheap plastic drinking cups six times while I was there.....how do you run out of cups?

Americans are coffee snobs....I being among them. Not only was the coffee below par, there was no half and half...they served milk...not good. At dinner we asked for half and half and the waiter assured us it was cream. After sampling the "cream" we all agreed it was milk.

The quality of the food has dropped of markedly since my last cruise with them. They seem to be lowering their standards to meet a more robust bottom line....at the expense of the passengers. This will no doubt bite them in the behind as it did with me. I would have a hard time booking with them again. If I want the Carnival experience I can get it with Carnival for a lot less. This was disappointing to say the least. The wait staff was average at best. When you go on a cruise you expect a great dining experience....they did not deliver.

Cabin Review

Interior Stateroom

Cabin N

Cabin was fine. Attendant was excellent. Mr. Ron was the brightest spot on our cruise. The kids loved him. He was very professional, detail oriented, and just an all around delight to be around. If every employee on the ship was like him I would cruise exclusively on that ship!

Port Reviews

King's Wharf

The port was small. Horse Shoe Bay beach was amazing. Don't miss it. Could have used a few more vendors and shops....a little sparse.

Baltimore

Parking was very expensive. The ground crew was very good at taking care of the luggage and giving direction.
