Being from the greater Boston area, riding on the ship without flight or long drive was a plus for locals. The boarding was long lengthy wait, specially hard for my 2 years old.

We had mini-suite on 11th floor. The room was great, good view, and reasonable size for 2 adults and 2 kids. You can tell the room needs some update, but was clean generally. I wish the room steward to be more mindful, e.g. cleanup the glass on the balcony, cleanup the salt deposit on the rails more often. I cannot see through the glass on the balcony during most of the time. The rain did help a few times. The room steward did not consistently cleanup every day. Sometime he did clear the mess, sometimes he may left some sand on the table.

We explored the ship, overall it is bit old, but still beautiful. There are a lot activities from all ages. The shows in the stardust theatre were great. We love all the performances, and the wonderful staffs.

Mid-Ship Mini-Suite with Balcony

Our room is on 11th floor, mid-ship on the left side. When the ship docks at heritage wharf the room faces the dockyard, to me this is a plus. During most of the trip, I enjoyed sitting on the balcony and reading. We saw dolphins, whales, and birds on the trip back. The size is about right for a family of 4.

On the last 2 sea days, the 12th floor main pool area had party all the way to 11pm. Then the staffs started to cleanup after that. They makes a lot noises. It does not bother me that much. But think twice booking on 11th floor if you are not late-sleep kinda.
