I was very much looking forward to this cruise. I have been on several others and having sailed with RCCL previously I was led to believe that Celebrity was a step up from this. I'm afraid I found otherwise. The ship was older and smaller and that I can live with as the itinerary was what I wanted to do. However older and smaller is no excuse for poor quality food, unhelpful staff and poor communication of information cruisers needed to know.

Captain Tasos was excellent and I very much enjoyed his humour. That said, the ship was tatty and felt downtrodden. There did not seem to be enough staff to cover the needs of the passengers. The communal areas always felt overcrowded and you had no chance of sitting on the back deck at the ocean view cafe as it was minuscule for the number of people.

The food was cold, unappetising and done on a budget. I found this in the formal and informal dining areas. The last evening on board I went to the ocean view dining room as I was truly fed up of the other dining rooms offerings. The Buffett meals served that night were pretty much leftovers from the previous 3 or 4 days. I kid you not! Thank goodness they did a tasty curry up there or I may not have eaten. There were no midnight buffets or deck bbq's that you usually see on cruises.

Quite comfortable but had faults with the TV, lock, safe and toilet.
