We took a chance. We saw the Oasis docked during a previous cruise on another line. I was quoted $3,200 on one day..2 days later, ready to commit, the cost for two was over $4,000. I asked about the large discrepancy, and did not receive an answer. BUT, with a name like Royal Caribbean, and the Oasis of the Seas, I made the mistake of thinking the extra money on this ship would make the trip worthwhile. Not.

Boarding was fine. Appearance of cabin was o.k. No robes, no nighttime chocolate, and...NO TOWEL ANIMALS!!! Small things, but those are things that make it special.

So here you are - you know you already overpaid for your cruise. I'm there to relax - not put on my sequinned gown and wait in a long line for a sub-par "meal" that I have to pay for. For the price of the cruise, meals should be free and available all day. We found ourselves hungry many times because the no-cost places had specific open hours. Food at the Windjammer was plentiful, but strange food choices and watered down drinks.
