We had a very nice time on our Baltic cruise. We were 2 couples, with one person in a wheelchair. Getting around on the ship was easy, with the elevators always available. Getting on the ship in Copenhagen was quick, probably because we were a little early and instead of waiting around, they started letting passengers on at 11:15. After lunch, our cabins were ready.
This cruise is well timed, with 2 days at sea, one of them right before you get off, so easy to forget your worries and just pack up the last day. We had extraordinary weather, water like glass a good deal of the time.
The ship is clean and the staff unfailingly pleasant. We ate only at the complimentary dining rooms, using either the Versailles or the buffet for breakfast depending on how busy the day was, and usually the buffet for lunch and the Versailles for dinner. Nothing like those white tablecloths and attentive staff. The food was usually good, with the exception of a truly awful fried chicken and the pecan pie. Do not expect your steak rare; I tried twice. But there is a big selection and most very good. We decided while the cake and pie chef was not too good, the mousse/flan/pudding chef was first rate. We also tried the Ginza (noisy) and Grill (good) and the Aqua (about the same as Versailles). The Market Buffet had a lot of items and the Indian menu food was particularly good. But it is noisy unless you eat early. Coffee was good throughout.
This was a handicapped cabin. It is a little larger than your cabin because we might have a wheelchair. Other amenities include many grab bars in the bathroom and a seat in the shower. I loved the balcony. One thing that would be a BIG improvement would be to have a nightlight in the bathroom, or an outlet to add our own. That is one dark bathroom!
