Overall, the cruise was very enjoyable and definitely geared towards families with young children although there were areas reserved for adults only.

Throughout the cruise there were scheduled picture opportunities with the DreamWorks characters. However, they were short - probably about 15 minutes each - sometimes a single character and sometimes multiple which some kids were not able to be with the character before it was changed to the next. Additionally, they and the character parade were scheduled in the late afternoon or early evening - at least that was what we were aware of - which did not seem ideal since it was shortly before or during the early meal times which was probably the chosen time for families with kids.

CocoCay was scheduled on Monday -- and so was the first formal night. It would seem better to schedule that on a 'sea' day where there was more time for leisure preparation.

Cabin Review

Oceanview Stateroom

Cabin H

The cabin configuration is the best that I have experienced in comparison to another cruise line. There is a curtain that can be used to separate the sleeping area and the main part of the cabin.

Storage is tight but every available space is utilized. The shower was always with hot water with a reasonable spray.

There were adequate plugs at the vanity area and in the bath (up towards the ceiling).

The cabin was clean and in good condition. The beds were comfortable and had the egg-like crate covering to make it cushioned.

Our steward was polite and did the necessary maintenance of the cabin.
