This was our first cruise ever so I was incredibly nervous about what to do, if I would get sick, etc. We ended up flying in a day early into Fort Myers to visit a friend of mine for a day before driving down to Fort Lauderdale to get to the ship.

The bus transport to the pier was efficient and they ushered us all in to check in. It didn't take too long to check in and get our cruise cards and then we were on the ship! Having never sailed before, I thought it really was quite beautiful. I can't compare it to any other boats but I thought it was beautiful.

We wandered around exploring for a bit and went straight to the buffet because we were starving and there wasn't much selection. We later realized that there were so many more dining options but we grabbed what we saw first. Since there's so much on the ship, I'll go by category:

Cabin 8D

Very clean and roomier than I expected. I'd heard that cruise cabins are so small, and the bathroom IS small, but it was all we needed for the cruise. I was happy with the accommodations. The bed was so comfortable and it was the best sleep I've had in years.
