Everything on the Celebrity Infinity cruise to Alaska was beyond expectations--excellent food, fabulous entertainment, wonderful room with awesome shower and balcony, and terrific staff.
The choice of restaurants on board was varied offering everything from seafood to prime rib to gourmet Chinese. While we did try all three "extra" restaurants only one outdid the regular open restaurants which were all excellent. We never made dinner reservations and never had to wait more than 10 minutes to get into an open restaurant despite the full ship.
I was overwhelmed by the entertainment: The evening musicals with a professional orchestra, talented singers and dancers, and eye popping sets and costumes; a Phillippino band that played by the outdoor pool and other musicians and singers at various venues around the ship.
I liked the individual room design in the aqua class: roomy, more than sufficient drawer and cupboard space to store clothes so we didn't have to live out of a suitcase. The sliding glass doors to the roomy balcony enabled us to keep the doors open at night to get the cool ocean breeze. The bathroom was a good size with an ultra modern fabulous rain shower complete with levelled jets.
I live in Vancouver and so my whole life here is an experience. For a tourist, though, there is so much to see. The views from anywhere in this city are spectacular--massive snow capped mountains and beautiful ocean. There are activities and sights for every member of the family.
