This was our third cruise, second time on Norwegian. First time we thought they were superb, but the Norwegian Jewel seems a bit tired and ordinary. The fake flowers all over the dining area were sad.

Staff was excellent, and worked hard.

The food was often cold and that was true in every dining venue that we tried. On the first trip we took the ultimate dining package...this time we did not and that might have been a mistake. The desserts, usually a high light seemed to be heavy on thickeners that made the texture less than desirable. The dining room was nice, but there too the food was cool to cold when served.

Aft-Facing Mini-Suite with Balcony

comfortable but not what I would call a suite.

Port Reviews

Ketchikan

We took the city bus to the Totem Bight state park. It is just two dollars per person and leaves from the city museum. The bus gets very crowded...be prepared to stand.

The park was very nice, taking a bit less than an hour.

The seafood in Ketchikan was amazing.

Juneau

Took a local tour to Mendenhall Glacier and hiked to the waterfall. Worth every step!
