Enjoyed every aspect of the cruise. Flew into to Seattle. Booked flights on our own and not through Princess. Took Rodeway Seatec Shuttle bus from airport to motel. Note. This motel while rather old met our needs and allowed 5 to a room, with a rollaway .Traveled to Cruise Terminal Pier 91 using Shuttle Express. Best rate I could find. $39 round trip per person. 7 traveling in our group. Mini suite D608 for 3 of us and wasn't bothered with the balcony being exposed to the elements. Only one day if rain..No concern about privacy either. The other 2 couple had obstructed view rooms E619 and E628. Although obstructed still could see some water. Room attendant Rolando was very in tune to all our needs. He was always accommodating. When we ordered room service it was always on time. We enjoyed the 5:30 traditional dining, table 512 by a window, with Donald as our waiter. He was always smiling and interacting with our group of 7. Kecthican we really enjoyed the totem poles and lumberjack jack show. Learning the history of each totem pole was very educational.. Juneau we did the tram and enjoyed exploring on our own. Our one disappointnent was not seeing the glaciers and calving as we saw on another cruise. We thought we would see it as it was mentioned in the literature. Talked it ip with our friends who cruised with us, but it didnt happen. Otherwise no complaints. Loved, loved, loved the White Pass train ride in Skagway. ..worth every penny. No complaints about the food..Lots of variety. The buffet was good and well stocked. Didn't have children with us so can't comment on the Childrens club. Also didn't utilize the pools, gym or spa. Enjoyed the caisno and even won a little bit. The Kareoke nights were a lot of fun. My son participated in this activity and we cheered him on. Two for one drinks in Crooners and Wheelhouse help strectch our drink budget. One was from 2 to 3 pm and the other 2 for 1 drink special was from 10 to 11pm. Went to the magic show and found it to be very entertaining. Stopped by the small library and enjoyed a quiet place to read. We played bingo in the bar area 3 times. Didn't win but got close. We prepaid or gratuities and soda and coffee package. The soda and more package worked out well for the mick cocktails and also enjoyed the coffee package with all the speciality coffees available. Didn't feel they were over priced. We did bring on a case of bottled water and 12 energy drinks. Not sure I covered all we did. .Great time start to finish.
