Had an amazing vacation on the Breakaway. I traveled with my sister, her 17 year old son and my niece who is 14 with special needs. I can't say enough good things about the staff on this ship. Most went out of their way every day to give my niece special attention which had a real positive effect on her. I would definitely sail on the Breakaway again but without the kids. I missed out on so much and Bermuda is beautiful that I'd love to go back with my husband. The ship was clean, the food was decent & always something do if you wanted.

My 17 year old nephew had a blast. So if you have a child that is 16/17 trust me they find a way to have a good time. Lesson learned- remember to have the mini fridge locked lol

Just keep in mind that 3 days at sea the sun decks fill up quickly. So unfortunately yes you do need to be out before 8/8:30 if you want a good location. This aspect of cruising will never change and chairs will always be saved and never cleared. If you want to enjoy the ship and have the pool and hot tubs to yourself stay on board Wednesday. Just a side note the two hot tubs port side are kid friendly on the adult side. Forget trying or allowing anyone in them on sea days. Also want to mention that the pool requires you to use a ladder. I don't believe any are walk ins on this ship. If you decide to stay on board Friday look out for the discounted massage offer. It was wonderful. Now onto the food. Some things were better than others. I'd recommend the ultimate dining package. You get a much better variety of food. Have your reservations set up in advance. If you decide to eat in Taste/Savor it seemed like 7pm was the busiest. The buffet always seemed busy but if you go past the massive amount of people to the back you will never have a problem getting food or a table.

Cabin Review

Balcony Stateroom

Cabin BC

Cabin was perfect for the four of us. Had no complaints about the pull down bed or couch bed. Our stateroom attendant Jeff was awesome and had the pull out put away during the day so the room didn't seem so busy. Key points about the room- overall space & storage was fine, it's a connecting room, balcony is small and it is almost all the way forward, very quiet location.
