We just spent 10 days on the Silver Whisper going from Copenhagen to Stockholm. While the ports of call were everything we dreamed of life on board the ship was so far from our expectations.

For the most part the ship is as advertised however much can be done to improve it including replacing the carpets on deck 5 near the casino as that entire area smells like smoke. If it is a result of the "cigar room" then you need to look at that policy and see how many are disgusted by cigar smoke vs how many actually smoke. You'll see the majority of us have long learned the terrible consequences of smoking.

Anyway, the main complaint we have is the food. Let's start with there being no part of the ship where you can get a snack at any time except in room service. I have been on other small cruise lines and this service was provided. The early risers are told to go to the top lounge and MAKE YOUR OWN COFFEE! Seriously for 20K you should have a barista. Yes you provide American coffee and hot water in carafes but they were not refilled while we were there, the temperature wanes and what if I want a cappuccino, I am expected to know how to operate a thousands of dollar machine.
