We've sailed Norwegian a couple of times in the past (Norwegian Sun, Jan 19-26, 2008; Norwegian Epic 2-night cruise to nowhere, July 8-10, 2010), so we are familiar with the whole "Freestyle Cruising" style they have on their ships. We chose this ship since its fairly new, and since we knew that this was a newer ship, our expectations were high. I can say without any doubt that our expectations for the ship were BLOWN AWAY!
Embarkation- We arrived to the port early, so they hadn't begun to let people into the terminal. Once inside, our check-in process was quick (It was a 5 minute process.) We then proceeded upstairs where they were boarding passengers in order of the group number assigned. and it only took 10 minutes for our group to be called. This had to be one of the quickest embarkations we've experienced, which was really surprising since we had 10 people in our party.
Cabin- Although we originally booked inside cabins, we decided to upgrade to adjoining Oceanview staterooms, which were great except for a small bit of seaweed that just wouldn't get off our window, no matter how often they were cleaned.
While it was a well-developed town, there were too many solicitors bothering us while walking around. The taxi service is also disorganized.
