My husband and I booked this cruise as a quick 4 day getaway for us to celebrate good health, and some time away from our kids. It worked well with our schedules, and it left from NYC. Those were the main reasons for booking.....we've done the itinerary before, so we knew what to expect - the potential for cold and rain, and this cruise didn't disappoint!

Embarkation: We decided to try FTTF and, honestly, I'll never do another cruise without it. I heard from others that embarkation took forever. For us, not so much.

Room: We decided for this trip to splurge and get a Spa Balcony. We went with this for a couple of reasons, but the main one being if we had bad weather, we had another option of something to do. Worked perfectly. The room was a pretty basic balcony, on Deck 10. It was quiet....oh, so quiet....and our steward, Sujara, was great. We had an issue with the phone 1st night after trying to order room service, and he immediately handled it. Great service.

Cloud 9 Spa Balcony

Cabin 8S

Great room, but a little dated. Quiet area of the ship, high up with great views.
