We sailed the Disney Dream for our first time cruise the end of June'15-early July'15. What a fantastic experience. I want to start by saying I have a 14 yr old autistic son. We never told any crew but they all embraced my son in every way possible. There were characters for kids to see in every part of the ship at all different times. The food was top quality. If you are lucky enough to have Tony and Steph serve you for your meals, you will be treated to royalty each meal. The theatre shows were unreal and top movies still in the theatre were showing on the ship. For adults, there were 7-8 night clubs with bands or comedy to go to and kids had there own places to visit on the ship. There were professional pictures taken on board if you chose to do so and when you got off the ship in Castaway Cay Bahamas, they took pictures on the island that you could purchase as well. Plenty of crew to ask questions if you had any. Plus the ship had their own channel on the tv to watch that answered any questions about boarding, disembarkment, stopping at different ports and where to shop.

The only negatives I had was our stop in Nassau Bahamas was not good. Once you went through the iron gate onto the street, people were all over you asking you to take you on taxi rides, horse carriage rides, tours of the town. It wasnt just one but 4-5 at a time. The Hard Rock Cafe had great meals. Other than that we lasted two hours. Other negative was the irons on the ship. They leaked water over the clothes and with steam still never took the wrinkles out. Nobody fixed the irons during the cruise. Other than that, fantastic!

Cabin Review

Deluxe Family Oceanview Stateroom

Cabin 08A

Great room. Small but really was only in there to sleep. Had seperate shower from toilet which was nice. Had a smaller flat screen tv with limited channels. Dorm sized fridge. Queen size bed with pullout couch and a bunk bed that dropped from ceiling. Never heard neighbors through walls. Great staff that turned down the rooms 2x a day. Very clean all the time.
