Take it from a first time cruiser; this ship is awesome! From the cruise director marcelo (who we nicknamed marshmallow) who was fun and energetic to seeing thomas brown's stand up at the punchline to having fellow passengers perform their favorite songs this was an enjoyable trip which i will never forget. Our room steward kunkun was a hard working and humble guy who really paid attention to details. The food was decent but you don't go on these cruises to dine on fine cuisine you're there to have fun! There is a wide selection of food from burgers and dogs to pizza to lobster tails to sit down breakfast so you will be fine food wise.

The staff is friendly and courteous and the casino was a riot. Port stops were just right; enough time to frolick, explore, shop and taste the local fare (if going to nassau i recommend sharkees' fried conch with the mac & cheese). I have to say i shed a tear when it was over because it was so much fun you don't want to leave. So if you're considering the five day trip on victory (i also heard they do a three day key west & cozumel cruise) take it from someone who has experienced south beach, las vegas and rocky point mexico's best; you will not be sorry! Marcelo said the first night during the welcome show that we were a family on that ship and those were not empty words, you really felt that we were family during your cruise. Thank you carnival victory for making my first cruise a memorable one!!!!!!

Port Reviews

Nassau

We shopped at the straw market, went to atlantis casino and the beach, toured the john watlings distillery and ate fried conch at sharkees. Cabs are cheap, drivers friendly but bring your id!!! The rbdf is at the entry to the port and will want a photo id with your room card or they have to check your name on the ship's list which can delay you if you're running late.

Half Moon Cay

Hint: bring cookies or other bread to the beach!!!! If you wade out about waist deep and throw bread crumbs hard onto the water you will be amazed at the Angel Fish that will come quickly to feast. It was so awesome!!!!!! You will be amazed with the sand on this beach......you have to see and feel for yourself.

Grand Turk

Quick stop but the beach was very nice. You can ride horses on the surf and it's a short walk to Jack;s Shack where the Conch Fritters are delicious.
