Sail Date: Apr 2015
Cabin: Superior Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

We sailed April 9th, 2015 on Independence of the Seas. This was the first time we sailed with Royal Carribean.

#1. The first night we arrived the four of us went to our assigned table for dinner at six o'clock and were shocked to find 4 other people seated at our table. Our travel companions were assigned to another table with a family of five. We were told to go back to the head server to solve the problem. My husband had to ask if someone could check their cards to see if they were assigned to the table. Their cards were checked and we were told they just walked in and decided to sit at that table. That told me a little something about who they were. People who do as they please without any consideration for anyone else. The ship staff would not ask them to move to their assigned table.

#2. Children had the run of the ship and could be found anywhere anytime of the day or night. We found them in adult comedy shows and in the clubs. One little girl (about 11 years old) we found asleep on a bar stool 11:00 at night. Even if parents did not have any common sense we expected the staff to have some guidelines around what was appropriate.

Cabin Review

Superior Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

Sorry but I can't remember the cabin number. It was a balcony. It was clean but we had to ask for ice several times before anyone brought it.
